Vietnamese automaker Vinfast made a splash a few months ago by announcing its intention to enter the Philippine market with a range of electric vehicles. Now, the company, supported by its parent company Vingroup, has decided to make Vinfast VF 5 its “star player”.

Obviously, if you are a potential buyer, it is difficult to consider this new car among your options without the necessary information. Fortunately, Vinfast has provided you with everything you need to know about an electric car. Here’s a quick breakdown.
For those interested in the technical aspect, VinFast classifies the VF 5 as an affordable segment SUV with a 70 kW electric motor producing up to 94 horsepower. It can travel up to 260 kilometers on a full charge. The company also promises a 34-minute 10% to 70% fast charge.
On the outside, the VF 5 has LED halogen headlights for the front and rear lights with active cornering control. It adopts a simple two-tone look and the VinFast logo is incorporated into the V-wing design on both the front and back.
Inside, the car has an intuitive interior design. It has a small round ball-shaped “switch gear”. The instrument panel and infotainment system are digital. Your air conditioning system also has a PM2.5 filter to protect against dust, smoke and other pollutants.
